We are looking for candidates with a great attitude who can take charge and run in a fast paced environment to join our committed acocounting team to oversee all financial  activies at our Anaheim headquarters. 
The Controller will work independently and in collaboration with our executive management team on creating the  company's annual and quaterly budgeting process, variance analysis and special projects. The Controller's goal is to provide financial consulting and stratergy support to senoir management. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities 

The Controller's main responsibilities will fall into three main catergories: accouting, finance and private equity. 

  • Establish Reduce A/R turnaround time.
  • Expense Controls.
  • Maintain chart of accounts.
  • Streamline invoicing process, create proper accounting controls.
  • Employee Stock Option Plan (needs to revise or payout) strategy.
  • Must see big picture and be able to handle month end close, prepare financials.
  • Organizational skills a MUST!
  • Operate independently and manage a staff of two or more.
  • Create and manage budget, forecast, cash flow analysis.
  • Present all findings in meetings with Executive Management Team.
  • Negotiate lease contracts.
  • Create and maintain models to track KPI’s (growth rates by market, customer, industry, etc.).
  • Strategize to increase efficiency, profit margins, client retention etc.
  • Collaborate with all departments to gain better understanding of business.
  • Build waterfall models, churn rates, CAC, LTV (Customer Acquisition Cost, Lifetime Value).
  • Multiple international investments in real estate, financial vehicles, insurance policies, etc.
  • Manage international investments; advise on strategies.
  • Assist with minimizing tax exposure.
Private Equity:
  • Interface with PE firms.
  • Assist with defending data LTV.
  • Perform due diligence for potential acquisitions; run analytics.
  • Assist with negotiating purchase price of business.
  • Create financial models.
  • Experience with valuation, sit in on investor meetings with President.
  • Experience building one or more of the following preferred: modern web-based SaaS applications; mobile applications; big data applications.
  • Experience with highly scalable platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology preferred.
  • Experience with database management systems including MySQL and PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs preferred.
  • Familiarity with the principles of digital marketing preferred.
Education & Work Experience Required  
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of  accounting experience.
  • Mimimum of 1  year of  finance controlling experience. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
